What´s the plot?
Rio De Janeiro’s drug ridden favelas are seen in this epic crime drama ‘Elite Squad’.

Drug trafficking militias have control over and within the notorious favellas of Rio De Janeiro. With police corruption at it’s height, it seems a situation that will never end.

Two lifelong friends who have grown up in these favellas though have a different plan. Entering into the police force, they make their way to the ‘Elite Squad’, the highest of the police force instructed with capturing the bad guys both in the favellas and in the police force.

‘Elite Squad’ is written by the creator of ‘City of God’ and is based on true accounts of the drug wars in the favellas of Rio De Janeiro.
