I love the sense of humour in the Scary Movie films and I really love spoof movies. I thought Disaster Movie would be like them, But unlike Scary Movie this film had no decent acting talent, no plot, and the jokes just seemed to go on and on forever. It should have and could have been a very funny movie but it has lived up to its title!!! Nobody in the cinema was laughing. There wasnt even a giggle. Unlike the Borat film when the whole audience was laughing from start to finish of that movie. Sometimes movies start off bad or slow and then get better as it goes on. I was prepared to wait and give it a chance just in case this did happen. I was so bored I walked out.

instead of just going to the cinema to watch a random film which as a good trailor, why not look into it first?
It dissapoints me to see so many bad reviews for this film, which admittabally wasn't the most exciting film of the centry, but surely anyone could have seen this was just another "scary movie"?
This film was no worse than any other scary movie, date move, epic movie, ect!?
So surely if you didnt like those you wouldn't like this...

Complete Disaster Movie!!!

How I wish I'd taken the time to read the reviews on this website before going to see this film which is, without a doubt, the worst film I've ever seen - and I've seen a few!

Took the youth group (14 to 18 year olds) to see it and we walked out after 20 minutes of toe-curling agony.

It wasn't funny, it didn't make sense and although it was clearly delivered in a light-hearted way, the level of crudeness and violence was totally unacceptable for a 12A rated film... in fact, it probably would have been unacceptable for a 15.

From the 20 minutes that I saw there were a couple of averagely funny take-offs of recent teen movies, but most of the films that were parodied were pretty poor in the first place and haven't really been around long enough to make them worthwhile targets.

As far as I can remember it's the first film that I've walked out of and when we got out into the lobby the overwhelming consensus from the twenty teenagers in the group was that we'd made the right decision to leave.

The one saving grace was that the staff at Surrey Quays were pretty understanding (perhaps they'd seen the film aswell) and gave us all guest vouchers.
